Located in Sudbury, Boréal’s main campus has all the facilities you could wish for as well as a range of services tailored to the needs of the student community. Measuring about 40,000 square metres, the main building contains the restaurant Au pied du rocher, various workshops, a state-of-the-art 350-seat amphitheatre, as well as the many other services and infrastructures Boréal is known for.

Boréal features specialized laboratories to meet the needs of students from various fields such as biology, chemistry, computer science, massage therapy, natural resources, funeral services, veterinary care, nursing, and medical radiation. These include a hatchery, the Minshall Museum (featuring a collection of taxidermied animals), a recording studio, an amphitheatre, a black box studio, and the Glencore Centre for Applied Research in Biodiversity. You will also get to enjoy the latest in wireless networking as well as a completely redesigned School of Trade and Applied Technology where multifunctional workshops provide practical learning opportunities.

For your weekend enjoyment, the City of Greater Sudbury offers cultural festivals, art galleries, heritage museums (including Science North and Dynamic Earth), French and English language theatres, shopping centres, bars, restaurants, and a large movie theatre. You will get to experience Northern Ontario’s vibrant culture through events such as Cinefest, le Salon du livre, la Nuit sur l’étang, the Jazz Sudbury Festival, and the Slague concerts.
