Your Orientation at Collège Boréal

 

As a new member of the Boréal family, you probably have many questions.  There is a lot of information to learn before your first day of class, for example “How do I get my student card?”, How do I get and understand my class schedule?” To help with these types of questions, we encourage you to attend the orientation activities at your Boréal campus!

 

Note:  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the orientation schedule may change without prior notice.  You will be advised of any significant schedule changes.

Where is your campus?

The Sudbury campus welcomes you with many social activities, preparatory workshops, campus tour and individualized help.  Join us to help you succeed! Meals, parking and all activities are free for all new students!

Distribution of course schedules, list of class materials and laboratory equipment required as well as an introduction to your professors.  Do not miss out on your first day as a Veterinary Technician!

When? Tuesday, September 8, 2020, from 9 am to 11 am

The orientation will be divided in two parts.  The first part will be held on Thursday, September 3rd, at which time you will be able to familiarize yourself with the campus as well as receive important information regarding the upcoming school year. There will be pizza for lunch followed by a meet and greet with your professors.  The second part of the orientation will be held on Tuesday, September 8th at which time there will be an official greeting followed with a social activity at Toronto Island.

When?

Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 3 PM

Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 8:30 AM to 11 AM, followed by an activity at Toronto Island

Lights, camera, action! … The movie is starting and you’re the star!


 

In collaboration with Studio Boréal, the team is offering you a movie-type orientation. As such, we invite each student to play a star following their own destiny. In a “Hollywood” atmosphere, you will meet your fellow classmates as you participate in social activities.  You will also discover the importance of your choice to study at Boréal all the while receiving information on the variety of services offered to you.  Lastly, you will understand the workings of the campus and your selected program of study.

There are two different programs for the orientation day at the Windsor campus of Collège Boréal.  You can choose between a full day of activities, games and information or a day of workshops and information.

Boréal Online’s Virtual Orientation
Evening orientation for all new online students at which time the student guide will be presented.
