Collège Boréal is holding graduation ceremonies in the spring 2024.

This spring, we will be celebrating graduates who completed their programs between Septembre 1st and April 30th at the following campuses: Sudbury, Toronto, Windsor, and Ottawa.*

An invitation to the ceremony will be emailed to eligible students in February. If you do not receive this invitation, please contact the Office of Admissions and Registrar.

*Fall ceremonies will take place in October 2024 for the following campuses: Hearst, Kapuskasing, Nipissing, and Timmins. Details will follow.

Individual Photo Sessions – Edge Imaging

Edge Imaging will be offering individual photo sessions to help you commemorate this important milestone.

As a reminder, you are fully responsible for any fees associated with booking and purchasing your individual photos. The photographer will provide graduation gowns, caps, and stoles. We suggest you wear a white-collar shirt (and a tie if you wish) or a black V-neck shirt.

Convocation Photos with College President

Convocation photos with the College President are available for convocation participants. ATTENTION: only graduates and staff can access these photos.

To find and download your photo, please follow the following steps:

Click on the following link: https://monboreal.sharepoint.com/sites/remises.

If necessary, login to your student account (username and Boréal password).

  • Click on the location (and time) of your convocation. ATTENTION: you will only have access to those photos taken at your convocation ceremony
  • Find your photo and download it.

Frequently Asked Questions

My program is offered at a Collège Boréal campus or online. However, I would like to attend the graduation ceremony at another campus or site. Can I go to the campus or site of my choice?

Yes, you can choose from the list of graduation ceremony sites provided in the notice of participation. 

I am an international student, and I must submit a letter to the federal IRCC department to obtain a travel permit for my graduation ceremony. How can I get this letter?

If you are an international student and your loved ones need a visa to attend the ceremony, please submit a Request for an invitation letter. A letter will be sent to you by email (minimum of 10 business days).

How many people can I invite to my graduation ceremony?

The number of guests you can invite depends on the potential number of graduates and the number of seats available. Please see the list below for the number of guests per graduate for each campus.

At the ceremony, your guests must register under your name at the reception table.

As a graduate, you do not need a ticket for the ceremony, and your seat will be reserved at the front of the room. However, seats are not reserved for guests: first come, first served.

Friends and family who cannot join you in person can do so virtually (live) or view the recording online at any time. Links to the online broadcast will be posted before the ceremonies on the Collège Boréal website.

Spring 2024 – Number of guests per graduate per campus :

Toronto: 4 guests
Windsor: 4 guests
Sudbury: 3 guests
Ottawa: 3 guests

Does Collège Boréal organize individual graduation photo sessions?

Yes. You will receive an email inviting you to register for an individual photo session. Dates and times vary by campus. Also, your photo will be taken at the graduation ceremony when you receive your diploma. Collège Boréal acts as an intermediary with the supplier and is not responsible for organizing the sessions or taking the photos. For any questions regarding this, please contact the photographer directly.

Will my ceremony be broadcast so my family and loved ones can see me graduate?

Yes. All graduation ceremonies will be broadcast from the website : https://collegeboreal.ca/etudiants-diplomes/remise-des-diplomes/ 

Collège Boréal organizes convocation ceremonies in the spring and in the fall. Students will be invited to attend which ceremony?

Students who expect to complete their studies between September 1 and April 30* will receive an invitation to attend the Spring convocation ceremonies. Students who expect to complete their studies between May 1 and August 31 will receive an invitation to attend the fall convocation ceremonies. If you do not receive this invitation, please contact the Office of Admissions and Registrar.

*Fall ceremonies will take place in October 2024 for the following campuses: Hearst, Kapuskasing, Nipissing, and Timmins. Details will follow.
