Food bank
This is an emergency service offered to students of Collège Boréal experiencing a financial emergency. The individuals who access this service are also directed toward other internal and external resources. To find out about the eligibility criteria as well as the procedures and responsibilities related to this service, speak with the welcome staff at the Services d'appui a l'appretissage, the Learning and Support Services Centre, (room 2010 in Sudbury or at 1-800-361-6673, ext. 2110), or through your campus representatives.
Welcome session
In order to facilitate your adaptation to your new environment, we invite you to take part in a familiarization period. The welcome session will be offered online for the students of all campuses, or in person in Sudbury, a week before college starts. You can use this period become familiar with Collège Boréal and the services available in your new town, as well as to make new friends.

Support Centre for English
The Centre d'appui en anglais, the Support Centre for English, reinforces the work of English teachers and offers students the help they need to increase their confidence when they use the English language, written or orally.
The Centre offers help in the following areas:
- written work;
- grammar;
- reading;
- spelling;
- punctuation;
- pronunciation;
- ability to speak in English;
- English conversations.
Whether you are already good in English or you wish to improve your basic knowledge of English, come see us to obtain help!
