Description:

This program prepares the student to work in the steel manufacturing or welding industry, on construction sites, and in the mining or forestry industries. Upon completion of  this program, the student can obtain certificates from the Canadian Welding Bureau.

Admission requirements:

  • Ontario high school diploma or itsequivalent from another province, or mature student status
  • 1 French credit: grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university
  • 1 mathematics credit: grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university

  • Semesters 1 and 2 are the same curriculum as the Welder and Fitter program and the Welding and Fabrication Technician program
  • Possibility of an apprenticeship program diploma (coop) in this field
  • All of our programs are offered in French. Taking into account the realities of the job market, Collège Boréal prepares its students to work in both official languages. Your program could include English texts and documents and the possibility of an internship where bilingualism is required
