Description:

This program is for students for whom English is not the mother tongue. The first semester is devoted to learning the language and the second to improving it. Courses focus on written and oral communication and include workplace observation. Introduction to computers and daily access to the Internet help students to familiarize themselves with advanced technologies. The Language Centre works to facilitate both personal advancement and enrichment.

Admission requirements:

  • Ontario high school diploma or its equivalent in another province, or mature student status
  • 1 French credit (mandatory group course): grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university

Notes:

  • The student must complete mandatory placement tests before the commencement of classes
  • Collège Boréal reserves the right to hold an interview or entrance exam, if need be
