Description:

This two-year program trains the student to work as a technician in various fields relating to the management of natural resources. It provides a comprehensive education on the management of  forests, fish, and wildlife. Members of the technical team work in the forestry industry and for the provincial and federal governments.

Admission requirements:

  • Ontario high school diploma or its equivalent in another province, or mature student status
  • 2 French credits (at least 1 mandatory group course): grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university

  • Graduates of this program can enrol directly in the 3rd year of the Forestry Technologist program or Forestry and Wildlife Management Technician (Technologie forestière ou Technologie en gestion de la pêche et de la faune) program
