Description:
This program trains technicians, male and female alike, to offer professional, specialized services in facial care, make-up, treatments for the hands, feet, and back as well as wax hair removal to improve the physical appearance of clients. In-depth knowledge of the human body and products and a detailed evaluation of the client are essential to the choice of appropriate products and applications in keeping with techniques and processes that will ensure the customer’s well-being, security, and satisfaction. This program also prepares the student to effectively run his/her own company, and provides the opportunity to perfect skills in clinical and professional workplace environments.

$3,540 (1st year)

$1,400 (approximately), including:

- Educational excursions (e.g. convention in Toronto or Montreal): $500
Admission requirements
- Ontario high school diploma or equivalent in another province, or mature student status
- 1 French credit (at least 1 mandatory group course):grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university
Recommended course or other:
Grade 11 or 12 biology, mathematics and chemistry courses would be an asset.
