Description:

This program trains technicians, male and female alike, to offer professional, specialized services in facial care, make-up, treatments for the hands, feet, and back as well as wax hair removal to improve the physical appearance of clients. In-depth knowledge of the human body and products and a detailed evaluation of the client are essential to the choice of appropriate products and applications in keeping with techniques and processes that will ensure the customer’s well-being, security, and satisfaction.  This program also prepares the student to effectively run his/her own company, and provides the opportunity to perfect skills in clinical and professional workplace environments.

$3,540 (1st year)

$1,400 (approximately), including:

  • Kit: $750
  • Textbooks: $250
  • Educational excursions (e.g. convention in Toronto or Montreal): $500

 

Admission requirements

  • Ontario high school diploma or equivalent in another province, or mature student status
  • 1 French credit (at least 1 mandatory group course):grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university

 

Recommended course or other:

Grade 11 or 12 biology, mathematics and chemistry courses would be an asset.

Many universities recognize the postsecondary credits of Collège Boréal. After your college studies, the university of your choice will examine your credits in order to establish the appropriate equivalence.

  • All of our programs are offered in French. Taking into account the realities of the job market, Collège Boréal prepares its students to work in both official languages. Your program could include English texts and documents and the possibility of an internship where bilingualism is required.
