Description:

This program trains farmers to work in the field of dairy production. Courses are also designed for those who want to upgrade their knowledge of the field. The content provides a good understanding of the many aspects of dairy production and its optimization in agricultural entreprises.

This program is created for regular students but also considers the needs of those with an agricultural background. The program is held in consecutive blocs to allow for selective attendance; meaning that an individual in charge of a farm could take one or more courses while taking care of their daily functions and chores. As such, students can study either on full-time or part-time basis.

  • Materials (boots, overalls, etc.): $200
  • Certifications (pesticides, SIMDUT, etc.): $350

 

Admission requirements:

  • Ontario high school diploma or its equivalent from another province, or mature student status
  • 1 French credit: grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university
