Continuing education
Forms (in French only)
Continuing Education at Collège Boréal offers a wide range of programs and courses for mature students and includes many facets, such as linguistic specialization, distance training, Academic Career Entrance Certificate, as well as numerous academic qualifications.
The linguistic component includes such courses as French as a Second Language, English as a Second Language, Spanish courses and “Destination profession’ program created for professionals who were trained abroad; the latter is designed to facilitate the integration of new Canadians in their specialized field.
Distance training offers students the possibility to take courses in several ways. Participants can take their courses by teleconference, videoconference, in real time or asynchronously, by e-mail or on the Internet.
ACE training offers adults who for whatever reason do not have their OSSD, the chance to go back to college. This program is considered the equivalent of grade 12 for admission purposes to college studies. The Academic Career Entrance program is continuous, meaning that participants can register at any time.
The programs offered by Collège Boréal are recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. This recognition allows the college to issue certificates, diplomas and postdiploma certificates to adults who successfully complete their study program.
At Collège Boréal, part-time studies are accessible over a widespread territory, thanks to the vast network of Continuing Education establishments.
