Collège Boréal Nominates Local Business for Stellar Award

Collège Boréal has nominated an area business to receive a Stellar Award. Every two years, Stellar Awards are given to employers or individuals in recognition of their efforts to provide exemplary learning experiences in their workplace.

Collège Boréal works in partnership with numerous local businesses in order to offer innovative training experiences to students. Whether through apprenticeships, co-ops, internships, specialized training or other learning opportunities, hands-on experiences allow students to gain practical training under the supervision of qualified individuals.

This year, Collège Boréal has nominated Carriere Industrial Supply Limited (CIS) to receive a Stellar Award. CIS is a local business offering training opportunities to Collège Boréal students enrolled in the Welding Engineering Technician program.

The Stellar Awards will be handed out at the Workforce Planning for Sudbury & Manitoulin Annual General Meeting.
