Collège Boréal and Université de Hearst to Host an Open-House in Timminslogos

Collège Boréal and Université de Hearst will host an open-house in Timmins on Saturday, November 19, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The event entitled “Your future is happening right here… right NOW!” will allow institutions to highlight French post-secondary programs offered in Timmins as well as numerous local professional opportunities. Participants will have the chance to peruse kiosks, meet the teaching staff from both institutions, and take a tour of the campus. They will also learn about admission processes, financial assistance services, learning support services, and student life.

And participants will also have the opportunity to win one of several bursaries totalling $1 500.

“By attending a post-secondary institution in Northern Ontario, students have the opportunity to remain close to family while getting a quality education. Information sessions and open-house events allow members of the community to discover all of the educational opportunities available in their region.”

Jean-Pierre Nadon, Director, Timmins campus, Collège Boréal

“Northeastern Ontario is a dynamic and booming region. Students who attend our information session will realize they do not have to search far to achieve their dreams and goals for the future.”

Louise Taillefer, Coordinator, Timmins campus, Université de Hearst
