Triple win for Collège Boréal at the Summit International Awards gala

Sudbury – Collège Boréal was recently the proud recipient of three internationally prestigious awards at the 19th edition of the Summit International Awards gala. This annual event highlights and promotes excellence within the global marketing industry. In the Holiday Card/Announcement/Greeting category, Collège Boréal received a gold award for its admission campaign “Chocolate Bar and Golden Ticket”, a silver award for its most recent television advertisement (see it here) and a bronze award for its “J’aime Boréal parce que…” student satisfaction campaign (the fridge campaign). Over 5,000 nomination files from 25 countries were submitted for this competition whose jury was composed of individuals from Sweden, Australia, the United States and Canada.
“I would like to congratulate the members of our marketing team whose creativity and know-how have been recognized once again,” says Claudia-Ann Malette, Executive Director, Strategic Development, Collège Boréal. “These new distinctions bring the number of international recognitions underlining Collège Boréal’s forward thinking to 11. The Summit International Awards (SIA) organization is dedicated to furthering excellence in the marketing communications industry. It administers three distinguished advertising and marketing award competitions throughout the year with the goal of raising the awareness of companies and individuals who have the creative and marketing talent to go beyond the ordinary. Throughout its nineteen-year history, its Creative Award has established itself as a premier arbiter of creative and communication excellence. Using stringent evaluation criteria and blind judging processes, its competitions reward only those firms whose work exemplifies the best in its class.

For the 12th time in 13 years, Collège Boréal has the highest graduation rate of Ontario’s 24 colleges of applied arts and technology. Furthermore, Collège Boréal also attained for the 9th time in 12 years the highest graduate satisfaction rate of all these Anglophone and Francophone community colleges. The ever-increasing satisfaction rate of Collège Boréal students worked its way up to place among the top three in Ontario at 83.4%, Established in 1995, Collège Boréal is a French-language post-secondary training and learning institution dedicated to the development and growth of Northern and Central-Southwestern Ontario communities.
