The Fondation du Collège Boréal

Thanks to the Fondation du Collège Boréal, we prepare you for the job market.

Established in 1997, the Fondation du Collège Boréal helps the Collège play its part as an economic development tool. To do this, it provides grants and scholarships to students from all regions in which the college is present. Its objective is to encourage a large number of high college students to pursue their college studies in French.

The Fondation has an endowment fund, from which the interest serves to create grants and scholarships. This fund was established thanks to financial contributions from individuals and organizations throughout northern and central southwestern Ontario. The Fondation du Collège Boréal distributes close to 1000 grants annually throughout the Collège’s territory.

The “mur de reconnaissance” (recognition wall) was created in order to publicly thank the numerous donors to the campaign: “Partenaires pour demain” (partners for tomorrow). Over 30 metres long, the wall lists the names of over 500 companies, organizations and individuals that have contributed to the campaign.

The Fondation du Collège Boréal: “L’occasion de favoriser l’excellence” (the opportunity to promote excellence)
The mission of the Fondation du Collège Boréal is to help Collège Boréal to offer its student clientele excellent study programs and activities that promote cultural development:

• By making sure that no student candidate be deprived, due to lack of money, of a high quality training or education;
• By rewarding personal and academic excellence of students in every sector through the awarding of scholarships for excellence;
• By making sure that the college has the appropriate learning materials.
   

The Fondation carries out its mission by creating community links and raising funds in the name of Collège Boréal.
