Program Quality Assurance Process Audit (PQAPA)

Quality is of the utmost importance at Collège Boréal as is apparant from the results of the 2010 Program Quality Assurance Process Audit. The audit team determined that Boréal had reached “mature effort” status. Quality remains a focus area of Boréal’s 2015-2020 Strategic Plan. As such, the College is taking a number of concrete actions to evaluate student satisfaction and make changes as required as soon as possible (i.e. Quality Assurance Office, KPI surveys, class and environment surveys, Program Quality Management Committee, annual program review, and advisory committees).

The Ontario College Quality Assurance Service (ocqas.org) is responsible for the PQAPA and accreditation. All reports are archived online at http://ocqas.org/fre/?page_id=9196.

The Collegiate Quality Assurance Audit Process (CQAAP) was developped to ensure the quality and continuous improvement of Ontario colleges.

The CQAAP is a cyclical and regular review process of each college’s quality assurance mechanisms at the institutional level. The process, which is designed to be evolutive, aims to ensure continuous improvement.

We invite you to consult the audit report summaries on the Ontario College Quality Assurance Service website.
